+What is

mHBOT?+

Magnetic Pulse Care offers mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions at 1.4 ATA using a soft-sided hyperbaric chamber designed for comfort while supporting the body’s natural restorative processes.

Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mHBOT) uses gentle, increased atmospheric pressure inside a chamber where oxygen is more readily available to the body. This mild increase in pressure allows oxygen to dissolve more efficiently into blood plasma—supporting its delivery beyond what red blood cells alone can carry—and helping support cellular energy, recovery, and overall tissue function.

+How mHBOT Supports the Body+

Research describes mild hyperbaric environments as supporting oxygen availability at the tissue level, microcirculation, cellular repair signaling, and nervous system regulation. Because oxygen plays a central role in energy production, recovery, and inflammation balance, mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been explored in research and clinical settings for its supportive role across a range of conditions, including:

  • Persistent post-concussion symptoms and mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)
Studied for its potential to support oxygen delivery and neurological recovery.

  • Stroke recovery (non-acute, adjunctive settings)
Explored in rehabilitation phases for its relationship to neuroplasticity and tissue oxygenation.

  • Chronic fatigue–related conditions
Examined for potential support of cellular energy production and recovery capacity.

  • Fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndromes
Studied in relation to inflammation modulation and tissue oxygenation.

  • Non-healing or slow-healing wounds
Oxygen availability is a recognized factor in tissue repair and regeneration research.

  • Inflammatory and autoimmune-related conditions
Explored for potential effects on inflammation pathways and immune response regulation.

+FAQs+

  • What does a mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy session feel like?

Most clients find sessions comfortable and relaxing. You’ll rest inside a softly pressurized chamber and may notice ear pressure similar to changes during flight or elevation. Many people read, listen to music, or simply rest during their session.

How long is a typical session?

Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes. Your session length may vary depending on your wellness goals and how mHBOT is incorporated into your overall routine.

How often should mHBOT be used?

Frequency varies by individual. Some clients use mHBOT occasionally for recovery and reset, while others choose consistent sessions over several weeks to support cumulative benefits. Our team can help guide an approach that aligns with your goals.

Is mHBOT the same as medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

No. Magnetic Pulse Care’s mHBOT is delivered at 1.4 ATA in a soft-sided chamber and is offered as a wellness service. Medical hyperbaric oxygen therapy uses higher pressures in clinical settings under physician supervision for specific medical diagnoses.

Is oxygen used during the session?

Ambient air in the chamber is between 20-25% oxygen (slightly more than what we breathe daily). When breathing through a cannula or mask you will receive 93%-95% oxygen purity.

    Who should not use mHBOT?

mHBOT is not appropriate for everyone. Certain conditions may require medical clearance or may be contraindicated. We complete a wellness screening prior to sessions and recommend consulting your healthcare provider with any medical concerns.
